A New Beginning at NTU
I am delighted to share that starting in 2026, I will be joining National Taiwan University as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Engineering Science and Ocean Engineering.
This marks an exciting new chapter in my academic journey. Over the past several years, my work has been shaped by a deep curiosity about how engineering principles can be translated into real-world impact, as well as by the mentors, collaborators, and students who have inspired me along the way. I am truly grateful for these experiences, and I look forward to building upon them at NTU.
At NTU, I hope to develop a research group that values:
solid fundamentals and critical thinking,
creativity and intellectual curiosity, and
collaboration across disciplines.
My long-term goal is not only to publish impactful research but also to train students to become independent thinkers who are confident in tackling open-ended engineering problems. I am committed to creating a supportive, inclusive, and respectful research environment where students can grow academically and professionally while also discovering their own interests and strengths.
